Are propellers measured from tip to tip? Can someone tell me what plane used a 12 foot propeller? IMG_3528.jpeg

You are correct, diameter is measured from tip to tip. That’s a BIG propeller!
It appears to be a left handed propeller, which may suggest a pusher application; the metal sheathing is suggestive of a flying boat.

Does it carry any numbers, letters, decals? If so, some clear photos of these would greatly assist in identifying it.
