Left Hand Chauviere identification help please ???

Based on the pitch of 180 and given the hub and prop bolt dimensions : what engine HP would this propeller be suited to please ?

Hi,

You have the answer in the last post of page 1: the only known Chauviere serial with 2.50 meters diameter, 1.80 meter pitch and a hub with the dimensions you gave was the serial 2216 for Morane and Nieuport fitted with a 80 HP Gnome.

As a (IMHO) French made prop, it is not possible your prop was made during the WW1 for military use in France.
