Aircraft Inspection Directorate Employee H.43?

I have an early British auxiliary propeller that is stamped A.I.D., and accompanied by the mark "H.43". It is my understanding that H.43 is a unique employee identifying code assigned by the AID to a specific inspector.

As a curiosity, does anyone have a reference such that I might be able to match a name to the employee code?

I don't know of any listing of inspectors by name. Bob Gardner has been our best resource for information on British propellers, and he has published a number of books about them. I'll look through them but I don't recall any listing as such.
