Unknown propeler

Hello,

I have a piece of a unknown propeller. It has a length of 46 inch and is 10 inch wide. It's with brass sheating and there are some nr,s on it.

Can you help me , to identify this?

Hi,

The word "PLAN" could be French (= blueprint) but I don't know any French prop with this kind of markings nor this kind of shielding going very far toward the hub and without a hole near the tip (it seems mandatory for French designs).

I found a few pics on the net of a Tiger moth airplane with a similar propeller, maybe I have to look that way.

It's far too big to be a Tiger Moth prop, I have one that may have come off a Moth and it is around 78".
