Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am a new member to the forum. I collect antique fans, and I found one that looks similar to an airplane propeller, and a Google search led me here. I promise not to destroy any rare old propellers to turn them into fans!

Here it is. This was found in an old mill, driven from a line shaft in Lancaster county PA. It was bolted to a ceiling beam. They used grease to lube the wood bearing.

It's probably not aviation related, perhaps for circulating the air in the mill.Comment
