German Propeller Purpose?

We picked this propeller about this past weekend from a local estate. I doubt it is an airplane propeller but curious what it may have been used for? Someone painted on it "Germany 1945." Any info would be greatly appreciated. It is 24 3/4" long. Blades are up to 3" wide. Appears to be one piece of wood with a small 3/16" hole at the center.

It looks purely decorative to me, and the size isn't consistent with powering a normal sized airplane.

Did props have other purposes during the WW2 period?

Most of the props of that size around WW2 were for target drones, but typically those were mounted on a 4 hole hub.

Somehow that narrow shaft has to be converted into torque, and that typically means having a compression style hub with multiple bolts.

Perhaps it was a P.O.W. memento or something a member of the occupying forces bought off a local as a keepsake.
Maybe a form of trench art.
We will never know.
