  • 1915 markings

I have what is believed to be a 1915 wooden propeller.
It has a couple of markings near the back side of the
Tips but I don't recognize them. Any help would be
    Appreciated.

Any other markings elsewhere on the propeller?

It's hard to tell much from the photos.

I haven't been able to find any. It was repaired a very long time ago to use as a display. It was heavily damaged. It's rumored to come off of an Art Smith airplane but don't have any specifics or real proof other than a note taken by my grandfather when he acquired it. He lived his entire life in Fort Wayne and was part of the Art Smith Aeroplane Society.

The picture can be deceiving, but it looks like a left hand thread, which in some (most) cases means it was used as a pusher rather than tractor application.

The Art Smith planes were all pushers. Again I don't have any real proof
It came off one of his planes it's just the story that was handed down.
