Hello all ..
Just found the forum and thought I would see if I could find out the details of this hub I have had for a few years.
Sadly I have had a water leak and the hub caught most of it ..having been turned into a fruit bowl ...

A.B. 7931. RH.
200HP. B.H.P. NEW.CAMSHAFT.
D. H. 4 & 9
D2900. P2380.

On the other side has GUNTIMING. Stamped in vertically

AB 7931 is an Air Board drawing number, and the propeller was designed for use on the Bristol Fighter and the DH9, using a Siddley Puma HC engine. It was a 2 blade prop with a diameter of 290 cms. I'm not sure if "HC" refers to high compression or to the camshaft note.

It looks as if yours is also stamped for the DH4, although the listing I have shows only the DH9 and Bristol.
