  • Barker & Co WW1 Propeller blade

I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this propeller blade? It measures 50" (128cm) x 11.5" (29cm).

My grandfather brought it home from WW1 but totally failed to tell anyone its history, we have no idea where he found it.

Its been sat in the rafters of a garage since the 1930’s!

    Many thanks,
    Angus

Unfortunately, any of the critical information was on the hub, and there are lots of possibilities for blades but almost never a certainty in identification.

The company began making coaches in 1710 and according to Bob Gardner's book likely made only a few propellers, none of which are have been found intact to this date.
