  • Looking for Propeller Info

The Bristol M.1C + Le Rhone combination had the following propellers:

    P.3017 (2600 dia. x 2670 pitch) for 110hp version
    P.3020 (2600 dia. x 2710 pitch) for 120hp version
    P.3054 (2600 dia. x 2750 pitch) for 130hp version

The P.XXXX designation is how it is listed in the "List of Propellers" from the Department of Aircraft Prodcution, Ministry of Munitions, 2/3/1918.

Does anybody know who made these P.XXXX propellers? Thanks in advance for any help.

The "P" prefix was the manufacturer's prefix for the British and Colonial (Bristol) Company. That doesn't mean necessarily that they were made by them. It merely indicates that it was a British and Colonial drawing, and could have been made by another manufacturer. Here's a P drawing number, and here is a British and Colonial manufactured prop using an Air Board drawing number.
