DH4 Identification?

I have had suggestions that this prop may have been on a
DH4. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

51 inches from tip to centerline

Center spinner Circle 14 1/2 inches in diameter at back of spinner and 7 7/8" at front

Numbers from front of spinner: 1, 1788, 2, 3
Text on blade:

NO. 12386

bolts centered and 5 1/4 inches apart
Bolts are 9/32 inch openings
Center axle 2 5/8 inches
Depth 4.5 inches
Blade is 8 inches wide at its widest point
Leading edges and tips of blades metal covered

What is the diameter of the bolt hole circle? (See this page.)

An "X" in a drawing number frequently indicates "experimental". I think the hub is too thin for a DH4 prop, and the overall appearance suggests a more modern application. Most DH4s used a Liberty engine, which would have a much larger hub.
