German pilots helmet??

Hello,
Although this is not a propeller, maybe someone could help me with it?
I found this heavy copper pilot helmet.
It is painted in feldgrau.
There are 6 holes to hold a liner, but the interior is not present.
Its made of solid copper.
Have someone seen something identical?

I don't know much about helmets, but this is in the style of an early German Helm, possibly from c1913-1914. But I emphasise my ignorance. It might be that German WW1 Flying Helmets evolved from earlier designs not related to aviation and this is one of those. Perhaps a fireman's helmet.

I don't think it's a firemans helmet.
Mostly these are from leather like the spike helmets from ww1.
There are french copper firemans helmets but it's another design then.
We think it might be from a grave or some memorial.
It's not bronze but also fairly heavy copper.
Strange object it is because of the workmanship involved to produce it.
When making a fake it is strange not to use the same materials as the original.
It might be an unidentified object forever and maybe one of a kind.
