I have a rare WW1 British Aircraft Propeller and would appreciate advice re an estimate of it's current market value.
This Propeller is 2.48M (98") diameter. It is in mint condition and has been in our family's possession since 1919 ... my Grandfather obtained it from a friend (an early NZ aviator) the day he crashed his aircraft ... and this was his new 'spare' propeller!
Compared to most all other vintage WW1 propellers, this must be very rare as only 60x Martinsyde Scout aircraft were ever made c.1913-14.
I have attached a .PDF file with photos of the Propeller (in my home) and a Wikipedia summary of the Martinsyde Scout aircraft.
I look forward to any advice re value anyone can provide at this time.
Thank you for your interest.
Best regards,
Paul Martin
