unconventional christmas tree!

I thought I would add a little color here to this thread. Everybody has christmas trees of one degree or another each holiday, but here in Seattle in our neighborhood, at our house, we try to do things a bit differently.

A few years back, a dear pilot friend of mine passed away and before he did, he gave me the main section of an old Bamboo bomber fuselage. We keep it in our front yard, each summer we grow giant sunflowers in it, and at this time of the year when they are all gone, we hang lights on it and other things as well. So here for all to enjoy, the spirit of Dick Hill from rockford Illinois, a merry christmas to all who enjoy this great website.
