Hi i have a large wooden propeller thats been hanging in my study for years,its made of 6 laminates approx 5ins deep over all at the hub,with 8 bolt holes and its just over 9ft long.The markings are as follows AVRO V80 Gnome type 504,Courtney Co ltd London,it also has 616 stamped on the blade,and four small block stamps with AID 656 in each.
Id be interested in finding more about its history,and what it might be worth

I think it's an early AVRO 504, similar to this propeller.

It's hard to determine its value, because it appears to have been refinished, but I'd GUESS something in the $1200 to $1800 range.

Yes, it looks as if it's missing canvas sheathing and decals as well.
