Dear all
I recently acquired this Dutch Hembrug propeller.
Unfortunately the propeller hub has been significantly altered to add a clock.
The propeller was designed for a 80 hp Le Rhone engine.
Lenght 255 cm.
Here the details:
MODEL R
80 HP LE RHONE
D 255
Also a small stamp, showing the Hembrug emblem with 1920 inside.
The propeller looks quite simular to a Levasseur and therefore, I am
wondering if Hembrug build some propellers under licence of Levasseur
or did they used their drawings?
What does model R means?
Could this propeller have been used for the Nieuport 11?
Best regards
Gino
