Yours was almost certainly sold off as surplus without ever actually being used on an aircraft, judging by the absence of the "witness marks" that a hub would have left.


The scimitar shape makes it quite attractive to collectors and others. I think you could expect to get something in the $3000 range for it if marketed appropriately, depending on exactly what's wrong with the tips.

Whatever you do, don't try to "restore" it!
