  • selling old WW1 integrale prop on ebay

I am selling an old prop on ebay : I would like to know what exactly the numbers on it signify:

    série n°1672
    S1 N°54204
    B2Rm300
    Be14

someone says to me it is a prop of 1917 served on a Breguet plane?

    is it correct

    thank's for answer

Yes, it was definitely for a Breguet B14.

The series number, 1672, indicates it was a Chauviere design and drawing. The other numbers refer to the aircraft. Is it possible that the "B" is actually an "R"?

Nice sale on eBay! It is a very attractive propeller.

        Dave, I doon't think "B" could be "R"

On the props, as far as I have noticed, we can read B, or Br, or Be , or Bre when fitted to Breguet airplanes.

For the present prop, the dwg and serial figures refer to a Breguet A2 or B2 and I don't see what could be the meaning of "R".

Renault engines were stamped Re and Rhone engines Rh on the propeller's hub.

Yes, the Breguet XIV had a 220 hp Renault engine ...

            Lamar,

the ebay item number is 150032078772.

Rectification on my precedent post: the breguet XIV was fitted with a 265 hp Renault to start and finally with a 300 hp Renault.

In this case it is a 300 hp power prop

B2 was for the Breguet XIV B2 model
Rm 300 for Renault moteur (engine) 300 cv (hp)

Thank you Lucienparis. NOW I understand why I couldn't find it on my own; it's not English language. Nice prop, too.
