1912 Blackburn Monoplane Propeller

Hi,

I have recently aquired a 1912 Blackburn Monoplane Propeller which to me seems in good condition.

It was presented to a friend of the family by the Shuttleworth Collection some time ago for charity work he was doing.

I also have an artical from a local news paper showing the propeller being presented to back up its origin.

I dont really want to part with it as I feel it would make a very nice feature within my home.

I understand that this type of item can be hard to put a price but I was wondering if anyone could give me a guideline figure as I would like to make sure it is insured for what it is worth.

To some extent "value" depends on condition as well as authenticity. If in orignal condition and demonstrable authenticity, I would guess that the value might be at least several thousand dollars, perhaps even a little more.
