  • Need some info on my propeller

Using your website I've found out that my propeller is from a Curtiss HS2L seaplane. Does anyone have a idea of value of this propeller?

And to whoever made the ID page...good job! you made it very easy!

I saw one similar to it sell for around $2500 several years ago, but suspect that it would sell for much, much less. Part of that is due to the economy and part of it is that it turns out to be a fairly common propeller and therefore not as desirable as a collectible. Also, I think the model number (SE 5090) and its appearance of a thin hub indicates that it is designed to be paired with another identical blade, rendering essentially "half" of the actual usable prop. I've only seen one "set" of these (with consecutive serial numbers) and unfortunately they were sold separately, losing much of their value as a pair.
