This propeller is marked SO52250 or SO52350, 823, diam 84, type OX5, pitch 5.0. The propeller is 8' 4.5" long. Any info of maker and value will be appreciated.

I know that stands out as an "O" in "SO", but in fact it was probably meant to be a "C", for "SC" or "Signal Corps" number. That's how most all of these are stamped.

That's a toothpick propeller, commonly used on the OX5 powered airplanes like the Jenny. Here's one that I no longer own, but I have had several identical ones over the years. They are fairly common.

Yours doesn't look like it's been put to actual use and may very well have been refinished at some point. That diminishes its value if that's the case, but I suspect it would sell on eBay for something in the $800 to $1200 range?

(I do know someone who has been looking for one. If you are interested I can probably dig up his email and put you in contact with him. Just use the PM feature at the bottom of this page.)
