help with identification

I am looking for help with id on a wooden prop

The markings are as follows

DRG 1/y 756/6
p75FT P57FT
LYNX IV ABC&(STAR)
FT57M

I will post a picture soon with dimensions.

There are 2 different numbers for pitch , anyone know what these mean ?

I'm guessing that one is length ("D") and the other is pitch ("P"). How long is the propeller? If it's 7.5 feet, that would be the diameter and 5.7 feet the pitch.

An update to my previous posting

I now have the prop in my possession.

The markings previously listed were incorrect, the markings are:

DRG 1/y 756/6
D7.5FT P5.7FT
LYNX IV ABC&(STAR)
FT 5711

There are 2 rivets holding the plate on, they both have markings and one looks like A53 The other is some sort of symbol.

The prop has been in a fire and one end is burnt showing the composition. It looks like a wood laminate base with a fabric covering, copper strip and mesh on the leading edge. I assume the whole thing was lacquered to get a decent finish when new.

From my limited research I think this prop is matched to an Armstrong Siddeley Lynx IV engine. This appears to have been used on the Avro 504 N variant. Circa 1929.

Can anyone add to this ?
