Hello, as a new joiner in the U.K. I am looking for some guidance. I collect model aircraft engines (typically up to 10cc capacity), especially those from the 1930s-1950s. I am seeking a source of laminated wooden propellers, up to say 16" (40cm) diameter, I know there are people in the Czech Republic who do this but they do not reproduce specialist shapes such as Chauviere. I can carve my own -- see sample photo attached of a 20cm dia prop which I made from laminated mahogany and pearwood veneer (and which smells nice when being sanded !). The global demand is limited, but I would like to find someone with CNC facilities to speed-up the process. All suggestions gratefully received.
