If indeed those prop tips are squared off, then indeed it may be an prop for an airboat, that being said, please post some more pictures that show a full span and both sides as well, along with some more detailed shots of the hub.
I'm just guessing that it's in fact designed for aircraft, but without drawing numbers stamped on it you will not be able to identify it. While square tips are common on airboat props, you do see them on aircraft props, and yours looks like a more typical narrow aircraft blade design with a coarse pitch.
Some of these are simply factory rejects that never completed the manufacturing, and information stamping, process.
