I've wanted a propeller to hang on my wall for years now but I couldn't justify the expense. I'd looked at some of the replicas on the internet but they just didn't look right and I couldn't bring myself to shell out a couple hundred dollars for a fake. So I had a couple days off over the holidays and set to making my own. I used a picture of the Sopwith Pup propeller from this website as a template (printed at 1000% on several sheets of paper taped together) and started gluing up boards. All told it cost $42, took about 15 hours and turned out better than I could have hoped. It may be a fake but it's my fake...
