Falcon - Jamestown Mantel Connection to Jamestown Propeller
The attachments were received from the Fenton History Center in Jamestown NY showing a newspaper article from 1917 indicating the principals of Jamestown Mantel who are the same as Jamestown Propeller. It also indicates a large order from Thomas Edison for fine wood cabinets and plans from Jamestown Mantel to expand for this manufacture, whose new size would have then given interest to the government and military for a large propeller order in early 1918, when the principals incorporated Jamestown Propeller.
