Hello everyone,
I have a near mint Fahlin Wooden Propeller from 1943 for sale.

The markings on one side of the propeller hub are:
DWG # 43K23447
Serial # 44-19110
I have this propeller listed on eBay. Please see the link below.

The Fahlin decals are bright and intact.
From doing some research I found out that the Military Designation - 43K23447 on the Fahlin is also the Sensenich Common Designation of 85LY-57
From that designation I know that the prop is from the Stinson L5 (Y Hub) aircraft with the Lycoming O 435 1/190 engine.
Our propeller is 85LY57 so it is an 85 inch prop for a Lycoming engine and has a pitch of 57 inches.
From what we were told, this propeller had been in the same family for over 60 years. The propeller was originally obtained as an incentive for buying war bonds and was given with the star that you see in the middle.
