I have a wooden propeller from a 1919 Sopwith "GNU" airplane. It was powered by a 200 H.P. Bentley B.R.-2 engine manufactured by W.O. Bentley. At some point, the canvas covering has been stripped and it has been re-finished. I have letters of authenticity from the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian, as well as a photograph of the plane and other engine information forwarded from the curator of aeropropulsion. My father recieved it as a gift from an RAF pilot when he was stationed in England. I am interested in finding out the value and marketability of this propeller.
