Question about value of a wooden propeller...

I recently acquired an old wooden Hartzell Propeller. It says it has a design number 4817J-48. It also has a serial number of 41944-A. The total length is around 48 inches. The blade tips are flattened at the end and 4.5 inches wide. There are 6 holes around the center hole. The center hole has a diameter of 2.5 inches. Is there any information anybody could give me on the year and/or purpose of this propeller. Also, is it valuable to me?

It's likely that it was either cut down to 48 inches or that it wasn't made for a certified aircraft, and the "-48" suffix implies that it was made to be 48 inches. Also flattened tips usually mean that it was for an airboat or some other similar application.
