Hello all - This is a WW1 era AVRO propeller that was cut down for a "trench art" display.
Propeller is 32" long on an 18" base (also made from a propeller part). It is laminated wood (cherry?) construction pegged with wooden dowels.
Of course, the real feature is the beautiful "AVRO - A.V. Roe & Co." lacquer decal, approx. 4 1/2" long, in gold, silver, black and red lacquer.
Item is located in the US, and will ship disassembled. I haven't found a box yet, but will have this boxed and weighed soon. The propeller itself weighs exactly 5 pounds.
Special "Nobody likes eBay, anyway" Propeller Forum price - $165 includes PayPal fees and US shipping.
I am hoping this is a great price, as I would like to see it go to a collector who will really appreciate it.
Regards - Don Wagner
