For those of you interested we just posted a 98" Antique Wooden Prop, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=130024198509 Can’t Make out the Manufacturer name. Does any one have a clue??

It is "Lang Propeller" and was probably made in the late teens or early twenties. The hub has been cut out for a clock (or similar insert) and I suspect the propeller has been refinished at some point.

Lang had factories in both England and the U.S. They manufactured thousands of propellers during that period.

EDIT:
As I look closely at the photos, it certainly appears that the cut out in the hub is on the rear of the propeller, which means that this would still make a nice display prop for someone, since the defect won't show when it's hung on the wall.
