In WWI, a great grandfather made two boxes from broken wood propellers. He lacquered one and wrote the initials of his sweety on it.
I inherited the second one, the hollowed out hub of a WW1 airlplane with old redish varnish.
One of the boxes still contained just the start of the twisted propeller. How cool.
105 years later, I would like to replicate those boxes for the family.
