  • Blade ident.

I have a prop. from the Aerial Propeller Co.of Greenville Texas, however I can't find any info about this blades use, or age or Aerial either.
It has the numbers SA54x28 stamped on the hub. Marks on the hub show it was mounted on a 4" hub with a 4 bolt pattern with a 3.15" bolt circle.
A 54' blade with a 28" pitch seems quite shallow plus the fact that it has a curved leading edge with a straight trailing edge makes it look a little antique like.
It may be a pusher prop. because the front of the blade is painted black with the back painted cream with three red tip stripes and the company logos.

    Anyone have any ideas?
    thanks Jim H.

From the size of the blade and the hub size and holes I'd guess that it is most likely an ultralight propeller or something similar. It's too small to be a conventional aircraft propeller.
