I have found an old US Propellers wooden prop and need help identifing it to see if it was used on an actual airplane or a drone. It does not have the typical red tips for a drone aircraft.

    6 bolt holes
    7" Black fabric tips
24" Tip and leading edge metal sheath

    Markings stamped on hub
    1- stamped on blade root

    On front side of hub
    3359
    52

    on back side of hub
    DES-5726
    SER-3359
    RPI-2300
    HP-65
    TC-752

Although I don't have a specific listing for its usage, it does look like a fairly typical example of a propeller for something like a 65 hp Continental or similar engine, which powered a wide range of trainers, like the Piper Cub and many others.

Great, Thanks. How old would you estimate this prop might be. I know for a fact that it has been in storage in a garage for at least 45 years. Could it be pre WWII or Post.

      Thanks

I'd be guessing late thirties or early forties. I'm not sure about the history of U.S. Propellers, though, and when they may have gone out of business.
