  • To identify my propeller

I have an antique propeller that I'd like to identify. I has a model number of 65L and a five digit #35553. It has 6 mounting holes and has brass leading edges. Any help would be appreciated. There is additional information near the hub. This unit is approximately 6' long

    Thanks,

    Jim Chessario

What's the additional information? I don't think what you've provided at this point is enough to identify it. The size is typical of something used on one of the standard low horsepower engines like the Continental A65, used on a variety of training aircraft, but that's just a general guess.

      Additional info from the Hub.

I'll inspect the hub and post the info shortly. Thanks for your reply. I can take a digital picture and post as well.

      Thanks again,

        Additional information from the hub

        Line 1, D E S, c or g, S or B, J
        Line 2, TO 116
        Line 3, RPM 1150
        Line 4, HP 65
        Line 5, 35553

The above information is on one side, and the other side has 35553 & 65L
The brass leading edge wraps around each tip and extends at least 2/3 of the way to the hub.

        Thanks,

        James J. Chessario
