I appreciate that this prop is from an Airspeed Oxford I or II made in 1940, but is there any other details I can establish from the ident plates, such as where it was made, by whom, which aircraft it might have come from, etc?

That will be difficult. From the limited photos it looks as if the surface has been refinished, and if manufacturing decals were removed so was the best clue to that part of the I.D. Perhaps someone recognizes the characteristics of the data plate as being unique to one manufacturer, but I think that would be the only way to accurately guess who made it.

It is extremely rare to ever identify a specific propeller with a specific airplane. The most that can usually be done is to identify the engine and make and model of aircraft, rather than a specific single plane.
