I have had suggestions that this prop may have been on a
DH4. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What is the diameter of the bolt hole circle? (See this page (http://www.woodenpropeller.com/Hubmeasure.html).)

An "X" in a drawing number frequently indicates "experimental". I think the hub is too thin for a DH4 prop, and the overall appearance suggests a more modern application. Most DH4s used a Liberty engine, which would have a much larger hub.
