View Full Version : An Old Propeller in Belgium

Hello, my name is Christian and i come from Belgium. A few days ago i find this beautifull wood propeller :-) ... Length of the propeller 3 meters, thickness 18.5 cm, diameter of the large hole 8.8 cm diameter of the small holes: 1.5 cm. I distinguish also some almost unobtrusive registrations:
ERS, DELZUG, D305, ST 180, P8200TNZ, N12440.

Can you help me to identify this propeller and to tell me of which old plane does it come? Thank you :p

Welcome to the forum Christian.

Your data probably reads thus;
ERS; I don't know
DELZUG Edulzug indicating a tractor propeller
D305 Durchmesser, diameter 3050mm
ST 180 Steigung, Pitch 1800mm
P8200TNZ PS200 Benz
N12440. Serial Number

The prop looks like the work of Wilhelm Wolff in Berlin.

He made propellers like yours for the LVG C6 aircraft in the later half of 1918. (LVG indicates Luft-Verkehrs Gesellschaft)

With kind regards,
