I am super excited to be the new owner of this 86 inch long beauty.
Could you please identify the airplane type/history and anything else about it?

There are three round stamps (AME stamp ?)in the top corner.

That design number shows up on the Sensenich (http://www.woodenpropeller.com/MWPSensenich.html) list as being used on a "D H Trainer" with a Menasco engine. The D.H may refer to DeHavilland, although I would expect a left hand thread would be more likely on a 1942 DeHavilland aircraft (although perhaps that only applies to the more common Gypsy engine series).

PS edit: Scroll about halfway down this page (http://www.woodenpropeller.com/MWPSensenich.html) and you'll see a photo of a Menasco engine installed on a DeHavilland Tiger Moth, with a right hand rotating prop like yours, so I think that's your best match.

Also I think the Menasco was 120 hp, so the "M120" on the hub may be consistent with that.
