    It is 99" long made of oak, eight bolt hole around a 2 11/16" center hole

    on the right side of the hole is a circle ( with nothing legible) below that is

    84G X 500, under that ' right hand'

    on the left side of the hole is; a circle (with nothing legible) in it.

    below that are the numbers 8779 below those numbers

    are the numbers 12544

    below those numbers the inscription R. Brodie, I think

    every thing is kinda hard to read but a few of us seem to agree in these.

    Picture?

    I suspect that the "84G x 500" is actually "8 F 3" x 5.00" or something similar, which would represent the diameter (99") and the pitch (5').
