I have recently acquired a wooden propeller and need a little help identifying it.

I believe it to be a Sensenich model but cannot find a model number that matches on their lists.

It is a 6 hole hub with the following numbers stamped on it

KF72 42 UI-S2-A65
72D-42P

Appreciate any help

It's probably not a Sensenich, but sounds very similar to their model 72C42, or some variation of that. The KF72 is probably the drawing number, 72 inches being the length and 42 inches the pitch. The "A65" most likely refers to the Continental A65 engine used on a variety of airplanes, including the Piper J3 Cub.

Thanks for your prompt response. It is not a Sensenich, what make could it be?

It has been refurbished by the look of it so any decals have been removed, although you can see that there has been some form of reenforcement at one point on the leading edges as there appears to be what looks like mesh under the vanish.

You may never know. There were quite a few prop manufacturers that came and went, and since the drawing number doesn't appear on the common listings, it's probably one of those.
