    Dawn,

    It's from a 1930's light aircraft, probably the Scion Junior but possibly the BA Swallow. All your data is correct. The letter Z indicates that the prop was designed by Dr HC Watts of the Airscrew Co of Great Britain. The engine type probably reads Pobjoy & Niagara.

    Repeated below for clarity;
    D 2250 Diameter in mm
    P 1250 Pitch in mm
    AC 7696 I don't know. It's common on 1930's civilian props but I haven't yet found what it means
    DRG NO Z304/1 The drawing number of the Airscrew Company
    ORICY & NIAGARA Probably this reads Pobjoy & Niagara; the engine types
    LHT left hand rotation for a tractor aircraft (as opposed to a pusher)

    With kind regards,

    Bob
