  • Can Anyone Help Me Identify My Prop?

I acquired this prop a few years ago. It was from the estate of a 50 year FBI agent and I'm wondering if it has a significant history. It's a Westmoore and measures 115" in length. It has 8 holes. Each measures 3/4" in diameter. They are 3" apart (OC) and 8" across (OC). There are markings on both sides of the hub. The right side reads C.10.V.2. C.P.11612. R.H. and the left side reads No.5128. R.9. Any info would be appreciated.

It's for a Curtiss R4 (or one of its variants, like the R6). The "C.P." stamping is for "Curtiss Propeller" and the 11612 is the drawing number.

See this page for additional info.
