  • identification help

I have a wooden propeller that is 73 " long. Has 8 drill holes. The only markings that I can make out say "Model 73". Also have numbers "20721 and SRNG on it. Also says on the hub "not suitable for flight".
Any ideas what it may be?
    Thanks

You could post a picture, but it sounds as if it may have been rejected during manufacture and never stamped with the design number or the manufacturer's name, which would make identification very, very difficult.

Does it have any value? How do I determine the value?

I would have no idea without seeing it and knowing its condition, etc. You could go to Ebay and look at what similar props have sold for. Don't go by asking prices, which are unrealistic in many cases. Click on the "Completed Items" option on the left hand side of the search page to see what recent ones have sold, or not sold, for.

If you want to get rid of it I'd just list it on eBay with a starting bid of $50 and cross your fingers that at least 2 people want it at over that price. It's been sanded and is just not worth very much.
