can anyone help with identification and value

The "SS" portion at least suggests that it may be one of the many produced by S&S Propellers in Winnipeg. Take a look at the post titled "Avron Anson Mark II Prop" on this same board.

I don't know that anyone has a complete list of their drawing numbers, though. Ranger is the engine manufacturer, however.

Thank you for the information. It has yellow and bleck painted on one side . Is it worth anything?

Sure. It depends on what condition it's in, but that kind of prop seems to sell on eBay on both sides of $500 or so. I haven't been following sales that closely, but it's in that range. Don't expect thousands for it.
