  • Sensenich propeller

I have a Sensenich propeller that I cannot identify what planes it went to. The story is my uncle found it near an airfield in the mid 40's when it "fell" off a plane. The model listed on it is S2C-42 and serial number 90050 HP 65 - RPM 2350. Can anyone help?

    One more!!!

It was a time you had better to wear a helmet near airfields...

Please see if it isn't 72C-42. 65 hp would be consistent with that prop, see www.modernwoodenpropellers.com/sensenich.htm.

Yes you are correct - it is 72C. The story is this prop went on a trainer. Can you confirm?

If by trainer you mean military trainer I'd say 'no'. It's for a number of different light aircraft which sure could have been used as civilian trainers. By civilian trainers I mean used by civilians taking flight instruction.
