  • Paragon Wooden Propeller ID

We happened across this old wooden propellor, but am not at all knowledgable in this area. Someone suggested this website - they thought it might be a WW1 Curtiss Jenny propellor. Could you help us ID this, and give us any direction in selling it?

Sure looks like one, but many different props (as for usage) do look similar. Are there numbers stamped on the hub?

See this example, which might be identical to yours.

OK - we've checked it with a magnify glass. The area that is stamped Paragon - some of the writing above & below it is not legible, but we can make out "America" above it and Maryland USA below it. On the hub, it looks like S.C.2233 on one end, and Righthand, 8.8 or 8.3 (we measured 8.3" long) X 5.00. Also, there is a mark that has 4 small circles the same size - one in the middle and four surrounding it, with the letters u, s, a, in 3 of the surrounding circles. Hope this helps...
