I've never heard of Southern Aircraft as a prop maker. The only Southern Aircraft I could find near Highpoint, NC is a fixed base operator that may have a prop shop that perhaps inspected, repaired or reconditioned your prop and put their name on it. Is there by chance another name on the prop also? Can you post pictures and dimensions here?

I've seen one of their props in the past, and it may date as early as WW1, but I wasn't able to find out anything about the company.

Greetings,
I also have a prop with the same decal on it. Southern Aircraft Co. High Point N.C.
I would love to know what type of aircraft this went to. Unfortunately most of the engravings are worn off and all I can read is bits and pieces of things.
I found one engraving that looks like it reads
"HP GNOME" Which I guess could stand for Hartzell Propeller
The only crystal clear engraving has this inscription
"S.O. 58375"
It is 8 ft long with a diameter of 5 inches in the hub.
Anyone have any idea what it might be?
