Douglas 750cc Wooden Prop

Hi Folks,

I have a Douglas wooden prop with the following markings on it:

DRG No. Z747/1
Douglas 750cc
L/H
D4.0 P2.0
AC45522
JUNE/36

I would like to know a little more about it and an approximate value, along with how to go about selling it.

I've never heard of Douglas, but it sounds like a British or Canadian model number. Bob Gardner might have more information about it.

You can't estimate value without knowing its condition. EBay is usually your best bet for selling.

Thanks for your reply Dave.

The prop is 48 inches (122.5cm) tip to tip with a 6 hole pattern so we are struggling to identify whether it is from a plane or not!

I will try to upload some pictures over the next few days to assist with identification just in case someone out there knows anything
