    Greetings,
I'm new to the forum. I have a 9 foot wooden prop and not sure what Aircraft it goes to.
The markings on the side of the hub are as follows:
    DG 23770 IPC
    D 2 78
    P 3 30
    HP 90 RAF
    DE 6
    G583 N28

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Good Evening Dave,

    Welcome to the forum.

Your prop is from a DH6 aircraft, which was too stable for the role of trainer, but its stability enabled it to become an all-weather anti-sub aircraft when the U-Boat menace became a danger to Great Britain in 1917.

IPC 23770, is the drawing number for the prop by the Integral Prop Company who made it.
    D278 indicates a diameter of 2.78 m
    P330 indicates a pitch of 3.30m
HP 90 RAF indicates an early version of the Royal Aircraft Factory engine 1 which later was improved to deliver 100hp.
G583 N28 indicates the twenty-eighth prop in batch 583, which dates it to autumn of 1917.
50489 is the serial number of IPC.

    With kind regards,

    Bob
